Just wanted to update everyone here on what's going on at JLT Performance Inc. when it comes to the 05,06 GT.

I have become a SCT dealer direct and will only be selling SCT X-2's with the JLT packages. If you have or want Daiblosport, there is contact info on the web site for DTP Racing.
All X-2's will come with 3 tunes, 87, 91 and 93 octane.
Tunes were done my Chris Johnson of JMS and now GM of SCT. He knows his stuff!
All tuners will come with the Advantage software so you can make a crazy amount of adjustments to your car.
I just dyno tested a bone stock 05 GT yesterday and it gained 20 RWHP and 20 RWTQ across the run with only the 87 tune. This was a automatic as well. So with a stick and 93 fuel 28-32 will still be had as with the past tunes.

As for the JLT pipe it self. I have redesigned the MAF on the pipe to a full Billet end with the MAF port and threaded screw holes. No more rubber inserts or plastic filter mounting area. It's a hot looking piece with the JLT logo in it as well. I'm calling it the JLT Series II.

Here's the best part: Now that I'm buying direct from SCT I can lower the package price.
As of today the new JLT Series II/SCT X-2 package will be $555. That's a $45 price drop. For this you will still be getting all the tunes and adjustabilty with the X-2 and the looks and top performance of the JLT.

With the new billet MAF, cost for the JLT went up slightly. JLT kits alone will now be $175 in Black and $200 in full body color. Still the cheapest out there.

I also would like to announce that JLT is now working side by side with the tuning greats of Doug @ BamaChips and Brent @ Brenspeed. These guys are the best of the best on the 05,06 GT and I am honored to have the chance to work with them. :worship:
There are direct links to them on my site and they will be there to help you customers who have a tuner all ready and need some JLT tunes. Brenspeed will also be a direct JLT dealer and carry the full package in the very near future.

I feel very good about the future of JLT and the 05,06 and ... GT's.
I'm happy to be able to lower the price to a price I fel is good for me and you, all though I do feel bad for the orders that came in the week before. I have spoke to the last order and will be doing a adjustment for him as I feel it's the right thing to do. I call him the "lucky Dog" like in NASCAR. You NASCAR fans know what I mean.

Oh, be for I forget. I feel the need to stress, this new Series II JLT pipe is performance wise, no different the original.
I will be offering a pipe only purchace on the web site for just over cost for those who would like to upgrade. Again, if you have a JLT with the insert, you have a great piece, but I feel I owe you guys and will put the offer out there. It will be up in a few days and be $75&$100 and only go to existing JLT customers. I have all your records. Some tuning may be required if you changed tunes with the insert.

Sorry for the long winded post, just a lots of goings on.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thank you all for sticking through the growing pains.

Jay

Did you take the opportunity and make the MAF larger while you were making changes? I may be interested in the change. I hope you also work something with Lidio up at AA as he is doing great things with the auto and that is what I have.

Looks good,

My MAF is about 87.5mm which is good to well over 400 RWHP before it becomes a restriction.
Making a larger MAF will require much more custom tuning and "most" don't want to do that.

Thanks for the comments guys and I will be working on a v6 set up by years end.

Will you be offering a 90mm MAF sometime in the future for those who want to go above and beyond the call of duty?

I can sell the loades tuners for $380
Let me know.

Clevland: I had a brain fart. with 25.4 mm per inch. My MAF is 88.9mm, so you could almost say were at 90mm. Not enough to make a difference that's for sure.

Bryan Big thanks to you. You helped jump start JLT in the 05 world and I can't thank you enough for your help and support.

Any new hp & tq #'s on the new SCT-2 and JLT II intake together? You mentioned 20/20 on just the 87 tune, did you dyno it with an intake as well?

Thanks.

I will have the new unit on the dyno Tuesday to finish up tuning. As always our great custom tunes will be available for all your modifications (Nitrous, T-body's, X pipes, etc...). We already have it on a car in street testing. This JLT II will be by far the best JLT yet.

Good question.
If you DO NOT have the insert in you will not need a new tune. This tune is exactly the same as the very original JLT tune.

Once we put in the insert some cars went rich and needed a re tune.

20/20 was intake and X-2 on 87. Not bad for a can tune and 87 fuel.
Remember this was a auto as well.

With a stick and 93 much more will be had!

Thanks
Jay

When I purchased mine, it had the insert in it and with Brent from DTP's tune, it was very rich at first. He fined tuned it to be good, so would I need a retune if I purchased the new pipe you think? I've regretted not getting the original pipe painted screaming yellow, lol.

If you have a JLT with the insert and tune you will need to re tune.

If you have a very early JLT with no insert, no need to tune.
