New Go Faster parts!

My speed shop threw on a set of Kooks longtubes headers with catted x pipe for me yesterday, along with some FRPP CMCV delete plates, Steeda UDPs and JLT CAI. Woo boy, what a difference. The headers got big time praise from them as everyone noted how much easier to install they were than what they normally used (Mac), the quality of the product and the power they were able to get out of them.

For those of you keeping track:

257 RWHP/262 ft-lb bone stock
267/295 with Steeda CAI and 93 octane dyno tune
282/303 with Steeda elbow and Corsas (better air)
316/335 with JLT/Corsa/Kooks LT/FRPP CMCV delete and Steeda UDP

Later this summer: 3.73s to replace my 3.31s and a one piece driveshaft, a helmet and my first trip to a drag strip.

316/335 rwhp Not bad for a few simple bolt ons. I have been very impressed with how much power there is locked up in this little 4.6.

Nope, manual. I really babied it when it was new, which may account for the low inital numbers. I don't think the intake elbow and Corsas were really worth ~15, I was just driving it harder by that point.

Then you have 3.55 gear in the rear not 3.31.

Maybe not so much difficult, just that the Kooks headers were very easy to put in, especially with regards to the way the gasket is installed. Apparently you need a third hand with the Macs, but it's quite easy to do with Kooks thanks to the slots cut by the bolt hole in the header flange.
