New FRPP Stingers

Well have had the GT now for 2.5 weeks and finally got the FRPP Stingers delivered and installed today. All I can say is outstanding. Although I can hear some drone it doesn't bother me at all.

Thanks to Bill, that’s TacoBill for providing clarity with the Stingers.

The video is not the best quality sound or picture but it gets the point across. It’s my first try....................

Congrats! I wouldn't trade mine for anything. I bought a set of GTAs at the same time just in case I couldn't tolerate the drone everyone cries about, but it's not that bad. If it tries to drone I just drive faster!

My stock mufflers drone enough that they vibrate the interior panels. I'll pass on the FRPP Stingers for now!

It's there. I try to keep my RPMs below 2000 RPM and I can always feel/hear the drone. It's enough that it will vibrate the interior panels (the car has less than 500 miles on it), but not loud enough that it will give me a headache.

The drone didn't bother me at first either. After a few weeks the drone drove me crazy. As this site will confirm, some people are just more sensitive to drone than others. Apparently it was too much for me and now they're on another car. To be honest, I didn't think they lived up to the hype. True, they're loud and deep, but not much louder and deeper than the Flowmasters. Actually, I think that the Flows have a better tone. The only real advantage was their appearance. They do look good . Sound...eehh . Drone .
