Question about air sensors!!

So I installed my pypes OR pipe the front air sensor would not reach for it to plug in. SOOOOO I didnt figure it out. Then I drove it 600 miles straight, and it hasnt crapped out or anything. So does it even need to be plugged in?

If you are referring to the frontmost of the three O2 sensors screwed into the midpipe, I would plug it back in.

I did the same thing and I got a check engine light and it ran a little sluggish on a short drive to the mall. If you can't reach it from under the car, remove the battery and battery tray and you should be able to reach it easy.

Oh didn't realize. Well, Steeda sells o2 sensor extension plugs through www.lethalperformance.com . $35 I believe.

You can drive it until you have a problem I guess. But, if it were my ride, I would reconnect because the PCM is only relying on the manifold O2 sensor for readings. Good luck.
