Just the hood liner is modified. Other than that, it's still a stock GT hood.

So what did your testing show? What is the optimum length?

Are you saying too short like the WMS does not make much gain?

Chris, are you saying that it's mass air meter is 113mm ? I don't recall seeing that anywhere in the CAI description..

The 113mm is for the GT 500.

IIRC the GT is 84mm. It's rated at 315HP on 87 octane. But if I read about the Bullitt correctly, if you use 91+ octane it's 325 HP. The ECU has a dual knock program that can tell if your running 87 or 91 and automatically adjusts. That may be how they get by the Gas Guzzler Tax.

Question is, will the same program flash be part of the FRPP aftermarket kit?

Since we have our own CAI, I've decided not to comment on the competition. It will only be misconstrued as aggressive advertising on my part.

So the MAF housing for the GT is 84mm. ? Well I just may consider swapping my Steeda 90mm CAI for it..Provided it can be adapted to use a straight inlet tube..btw: what does IIRC stand for lol.

The horsepower doesn't change much (2-3 hp) with the higher octane, but the torque goes up 10 ft-lb (to 335 at the peak). That definitely should improve snap off the line and the 0-60 mph time.

Excellent question! I hope so. Since the Bullitt has 3.73 gears, it will be interesting to see how it would work with a GT with either 3.31 or 3.55s. I would assume they offer different calibrations depending on this so the speedometer show correctly.
