What is the benefit of a Diablo over an SCT? A lot of people on this site run SCT, so knowing the strengths of Diablo may help sway others in the future.

 

no difference that I am aware as for as tuning ability and type of tunes, there are some differences I know of, the number of tuners for SCT seem to outnumber the diablo tuners, not really sure why, diablo has nbeen around longer

My guess for the SCT numbers being higher(at least on this site) is due to the fact places like AmericanMuscle and Brenspeed sell a package which comes with the SCT.

 

I can say the diablo store has excellent customer service. I received my tune last Sunday. I have yet to try out the tune as it's for CMDP and I haven't installed them yet.

 

The reason I'm here is truly not to persuade anyone to buy one tuner over another. I feel that they all have their good and bad parts. The Predator as mentioned has been around a lot longer then the SCT and doesn't seem to have as many concerns but the SCT is a little easier to use and I love the USB interface over that of the Predator.

I've just been doing Diablosport tuning for many years now and I've come to realize the shortage of support online for them and thought I may be able to help a few owners out with their tunes they already have and any questions about new tuning too.

Great! I bought a Diable tuner not too long ago and could use some guidance on how to take full advantage of the benefits of it. What is the best number to call you at and when can you be reached?

 

I had a few questions. I heard that the sct tuner can damage to the computer bank on my car. I went with a diablo unit after hearing that. The main question is whats the best deal I can get to unlock my diablo predator? I bought it and used it once for a car that I traded in. The dealer sold the car before I got to unlock the tuner. They did not live up to most things they said. In a case like this would I be able to get a better deal then the current $130 unlock fee?

Help this poor little unit give my shelby gt alittle more go.

Chip, I know you are good friends with Doug. Are your tunes similar to his? I have used his tunes in the past and I was impressed with them.

 

The track tune is impressive. I wish I had it for the track yesterday.
