so do we know of any gains yet???? I am itching to ditching a S/C and going all N/A. I drive the thing 100 plus miles a day and dont want to risk a rod droping out the bottom end. I cant afford to replace stock internals. She already has 51,000 miles on her clock.

I don't think he has one. I think he meant ditching the "idea" of getting one.

his car is still at the body shop.

but I dont know if i posted before or not, but if you want SOUND, comp and crower are not what you want. both will sound very mild.... they will have excellent gains.... but wont sound old school. If you want the huge cam sound, either get a custom grind from them, or look for something else. I dont want to go too into detail on the pros and cons till I get mine in and dynoed.

Do tell, what did you buy? Do you mind listing part #'s, prices, etc? Good luck on the install!

I got the Livernois springs and BBR stage 2 cams.... because basically the comp and crower cams perform better, but these sound better. I will give more detail on that later, after I have em on. Hopefully it will be done next week. I will do a massive write up on everything and get it dynoed when I am done.

hell yeah I do.... not as much anymore... gotta focus more on school, but I still play a lot. I had the original boomslang also, with the ball, and I loved the feel, but not the ball. I got several different MS and logitech mice since then, but when razor came out with the new Dianmodback..... I had to have one. and I have had the fUNC pad forever, lol.

how do you know those sound better? or for that matter that the comp and crowers perform better? is there a link to this info or sound clips? I have heard this stated before but to my knowledge havent heard from anyone who actually has the comps or crowers on their cars yet.

Well, I am going purely on duration and overlap on the cams as far as sound is concerned. BBRs sound good forsure, as seen in their infamous video. as far as the gains are concerned, I am also just speculating for the most part, based on what I have learned, and the specs on the cams and how the VVT tables work.

There are 2 people who have crowers on their car, although they are stage 1 and 2. One was on this forum, I think.

Mine will go on and get dynoed next week, hopefully! I will post the sheet.
