FYI, it's 11:02 PM in Phoenix on 3/11 (Nod your head to this...) and I don't have any camshafts yet in case anyone is interested.

Just kidding, but I really want these.

EmporerJordan, where in CA do you live? Want to do a 2 at a time camshaft install on our cars? Depending on where you are in CA, it's not that far of a drive from Phoenix and it would save us both between $500-$1000 for installation (I am guessing on install price). Shoot me a PM if you are up for it. I've never done it before but it sounds like you haven't either, so we could break both of our cars at once!

I'll send $1.00 via Paypal to the first person who can PM me the reason I put that sentence in parenthesis in the first line of this post.

What is a typical gain from cams? Are we talking in the 10-15 or 25-30 range?

I am optimistically hoping 30-40whp with Doug's cams, but who knows until the car is on the dyno.

depends on how much you are willing to your gas mileage to change I would assume that they would come out with several "levels" of performance, cam/valvetrain kits.

dying to know what the gains are going to be. I am looking at a bunch of guys I know in the area with GTO's that are putting down 350-360 Hp numbers and running 12.90's @ 110. There stock 06's with a tune and exhuast. So I need a fix soon.....wait Nitrous thats what I will do.

yes, its like a thread i was agrueing in over on mustang exhaust forums about mustangs vs late model camaros...... some guy was said:

"Indeed, and a cammed LS1 = sick no matter how you cut it"

so i responded with:

"thats very true, but my car cammed is sick as heck no matter how you cut it, and it looks better too, AND the chicks dig it."

so he came back with:

"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"

and then I said:

"thats sooooo true. fat chicks have to get laid too, i guess."

anyway, it was a pretty funny thread. http://www.mustangexhaust.com/forums/smoki...rk-side-15.html
