Those numbers are utilizing their bolt-on kit with factory manifolds, h20 pump, etc. That's according to Edelbrock's sales guys.

I was told just by opening the airbox up and retuning for it would net nearly 25-30 at the wheels staying at 5PSI! (might make it see closer to 5.5, however)

That means @ 7PSI, with an open element, we should have no problem breathing down the neck of 450RWHP!

Strictly emissions. We're working on the options to up boost levels to 7PSI, including the pulley, aftermarket air intake, and fuel system. With retune, we plan to hit over 450RWHP SAE corrected on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC.

Then manufactors come out sharp looking S/C's... Sometimes I want to "slow cook" my way to the 400 rwhp mark and then I think that I should just go for the juggler and supercharge that b****! Just wanna do it right the first time which is why I watch the forums very closely.

Any word on the scope of the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty... is this intended to be a replacement of the factory warranty (similar to the RoushCharger), or just on the supercharger and it's components?

So can anybody tell me, but is TVS the same thing as a twin screw? I can't really figure it out.

See, all the people on Camaro5.com LOVE Maggies, and they swear that the TVS is a twin screw.

Maggies are now using the TVS technology.

I argued with them saying that TVS is not a twin screw, but a more efficient Roots. After reading more about the kit, I was indeed correct. Psh...

"Twin screw" is such a general term now for roots style blowers. Technically the TVS is a four lobe "roots style" blower, from what I've read and seen. Sometimes it's just easier to let everyone call it "twin screw" lol.

The warranty as I understand is taking over the Ford factory warranty, like Roush.

LOL Ira - go F/I!!!!

Shawn, forge it... go low compression, and throw 12lbs at that bad boy with this blower!

the difference between roots and twin screw, as I understand, is the location of compression. A twin screw compresses air between the screws while the roots "screws" act like a fan and compression takes place after the screws. In theory, the twin screw had an advantage in terms of less heat generated and less parasitic loss. I don't know if the theory still holds true with the release of the new 4 lobe roots, or if the theory ever was true to begin with.

Anyways, I look forward to seeing what this thing has to offer at 7psi and CAI. Or even a CAI @ 5psi
