Doug sent me some revised tunes for my Bullitt CAI, and I uploaded them to my X-Cal 3. But when I plug the unit into the car, and go to upload one of his tunes. I get this screen:



I can't select his tune to highlight it. It seems that before when I originally uploaded his tune, I could select it, and there wasn't gibberish on the screen like there is now.

I uploaded something, don't know exactly what, and the car does run, but I'm a little nervous about it.

Any ideas?

 

Well, I reloaded the original tunes that Doug sent, and the X-cal worked just fine. So then I went and reloaded the updated tunes for the CAI again, and now they work fine, too. I don't know what the glitch was, but it seems to be fixed.

 

Make sure you have the updated firmware from SCT and tune revision software. Fixes the glitches.

 

I did the firmware update when I bought the tuner. What's the tune revision software? Is that something different?
