I'm considering Corsa's as well, but the other 2 I like are Zoomers and SLP Powerflows. Both of these are straight-through designs too.
If you go with a straight through design, you may consider an x-pipe.

I saw and heard the GTA's in person. They're noticeably louder than stock to the bystander, but offer minimal drone and decent interior noise. I guess I prefer the power of silence! Loud exhaust systems do hurt your hearing so I highly recommend you take that into consideration.

Well I am going to ask you a question no one has asked you yet but it is the most important question of all. "What will your final exhaust set up consist of"??? What I mean is shorties, longtubes, got to run stock cats in your area, offroad H-pipe? Trust me I have had 4 different mufflers and 2 of them are on your list. I have run with cats, offroad H-pipe and now longtubes. All I can say is what sounds good with cats might or will sound like poop with an offroad pipe and pure **** with longtubes. So I say to you do you need to run the stock cats or want an offroad H-pipe or will you want longtubes? When you answer these questions then we can help you pick a muffler. Trust me I have spent tons of money on this mod and every time you change something in the system the sound will change a bunch with the same muffler on the car. Nothing against any of the opinions above but you need to understand what total setup they are running with their chosen muffler.

Well I don't quite agree with this statment. If you retain the stock cats the Ford GTA's sound just fine. About 30% louder than stock but nothing crazy. It is when you lose the cats or go with longtubes than they sound bad. I know I have run this setup for over a year..

Sorry, alloymustang. I don't know of any places to buy the Corsas that would be the cheapest. You might try looking up some of the TMS vendors. These guys usually have the best prices

The Corsas are a fine choice. Well-built and handsome looking. I'm certain you're gonna love them.

I gotta say that the stockers sound meaner when under load with a CAI. I honestly would not want them any louder, even now it can sometimes get to be a headache.
As for swapping out the mufflers because the tips are too small? I picked up a set of ford tips from ebay for 80bux, they are polished stainless and fit exactly over the stock tips, they are the upgrade from ford. They are also slightly larger. If I had the bug for larger cans, then I would probably buy a good quality set of 4inch tips and have them professionally welded on the stokers. Still cheaper than a set of aftermarket mufflers.
However my opinion may change when I get a set of shorty headers.

I have had the GTA's for over 14 months and absolutely no drone. I have also read all the GTA threads during that period and never heard anyone complain of drone with the GTA's.

Ron's correct. At least when you are running the GTA's with the stock cats you will not get any drone or anything annoying from the GTA's. But when you go offroad everything changes. At least that is what I found out.
