Well I decided to go for it, after pouring countless hours into research and literally dozens of phone calls its a done deal. I was originally going to have heads and cams done through Boss 330 Racing (great guy BTW) I had a problem with the spare set of heads I bought, do to shipping issues. :bang: It's going to be awhile before I get that resolved and continue with the heads. I will still be having Al at Boss 330 racing do them, it's just delayed awhile. Now onto what Natasha is getting now... Ques the Darth Vader entering the room music...

Here is a list of whats on the way:

*Saleen Sereis VI Supercharger
*JDM 3.4" Pulley (9.5 Ibs of Boost ) & new (shorter) belt
*C&L "Racer" 90 mm Intake Tube
*Custom JDM 90 mm MAF housing & wiring harness
*Custom JDM air box
*Brand new 39 Ib Cobra injectors
*SCT X2 w/ three Custom tunes for my specific applications-Very important part of my decision...
*MMR TB Spacer (To allow my LFP Billet TB to clear the Saleen)

JDM has been great to deal with, they are the leaders when it comes to Saleen S/Cing the 05's IMO. They really took the extra time to explain everything to me and work out the tuning which is what I believe to be the most important aspect for not "blowing ones motor". My RWHP/Torque goal is around 460/450, I believe with a twin screw and the proper tuning she will be fine...The nitrous setup will stay on board unused until the motor is forged, then all bets are off... Give JDM a call they gave me a good price on the whole kit.

Also since Ford copied my "GT 500"... Out of respect of the new Cobra, I am changing my side stripes to GT 350R which I think fits Natasha better at this point anyway...
my tune and work had been done ny JDM. JIM sure knows his work.

I always like to beat Vettes... The 4-4-2 beat me by 5/100. It was a close, fun race. BTW, I try to post videos from the track in the Drag Racing forum. There are more here: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=43243

Very exciting news, Justin. The Saleen is by far my favorite SC and would be my choice if I go that route in the future. Can't wait to see it installed in Natasha... and can't wait to hear about the results. By the way, I think GT350R is perfect. Will be nice to see another GT350.

What about GT350SR? I believe the "R" stands for "racing" and the "S" stands for "supercharged". Might be too long though to fit on the '05's fender.

Thanks Ian! That's a great idea... Your correct about the "R" designation Ian, it was used on a limited number of GT350's set up for racing. What about GT 350SC ?? Lets put it to a vote and let the people decide... LOL

Choices:
1. GT 350S
2. GT 350R
3. GT 350SR
4. GT 350SC

TMS you decide....

OK.. sorry for the newb question in advance if it turns out to be one, but it looks like JDM is in New Jersey and you're in Las Vegas. The custom tunes from JDM (that were an imporstant part of your decision) you are getting from them are going to be sent to you and not actually tuned from your car on their dyno at their shop.... right? From reading on this site and talking to people I'm under the impression that a car as heavily modified as yours should really be tuned in person and not by emailed tunes. THIS IS NO WAY A CRITICISM... just looking for clarification. Hopefully I will be doing the same as you within a year or so and I want to better understand it for myself. Good luck and congrats on the big purchase.

I can explain Jerrod, Good question BTW...

Living in Las Vegas I seem to be in a "Black Hole" of Mustang development...I have lived here for 16 years and there is just no solid tuners or motor builders anywhere close. I have had to fight for every inch of ground I have gained with my current set up and I still don't feel at peace with it as far as tuning is concerned (Nitrouse wise)...JDM is at the forefront of Saleen tuning and set-ups and have tuned for a lot of variables including the mods I'm running. They have a lot of proven tunes running around in Saleen S/C'ed car's doing very well. What I will do is immediately after the install I will go to a Dyno and see how everything is doing. I will submit that data to JDM for review and make adjustment's if nesassary. I have done my homework and feel JDM is the best, thats why I will have everything shipped 2,000 miles to get-r-done.

I will post all my progress for all to see if I made the right decision...I can say I will sleep well tonight...

It's kind of like JDM is directly tunning your car with someone elses dyno. Good plan and good luck.
