My proposed nitrous setup, am i missing anything?

Am I missing anything? Not everything is necessary right away but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I've read a LOT of posts on several forums so I'm just wrapping up what is needed/wanted.

Nitrous Express plate system for 3v Gt (ordered)

WOT 0-5volt autosenseing electronic switch

Window switch w/ 3000,6000 pills

Fire/Ice bottle pressure heater

HT0 plugs

Remote bottle opener

KB Boost a pump ?

Purge kit ? (not really needed but cool)

NHRA vent tube

NX fuel tap for 4.6ltr ford

Edit : thanks to Tom

- Wideband O2
- Nitrous Pressure
- Fuel Pressure
- SOS tripple pod a-pillar

The only thing I can think of immediately are guages. Make sure you can monitor the vitals......If I was doing it I would also order an additional bottle, just because I know I'd want a spare 10lbs or so readily available.

Also, change your member name to 06GTwSQUEEZE!!

Good luck, let me know how it turns out!

Dude that's funny, Juice was my 2nd choice- I actually had it typed but deleted it......

I heard the Cobalt series gauges look great and match really well..... much cheaper than the Nexus series but you'll still have a couple hundred $$ wrapped up in the proper gauges and a gauge pod. BTW, the SOS pods are pretty cool......

All she needs to know is that you are buying an oxygen filtration system, so that she can get fresh air at all times!

Not only are the SOS pods pretty trick, but they also have a cup holder gauge pod with switches that works great for nitrous applications.

06GTw/Juice is more like it!

My wife remembers when my last car was using nitrous... and then a turbo. As she has reminded me several times.

Now I must say she never really rides with me so she wont notice anything but the charges on the credit card.

The initial kit is "everything you need", so all the other stuff except plugs are "optional".. but on my preferred list.

any suggestions as to what options I get first.?

First option to get IMO is the bottle heater..... I would also get the purge kit not only for show but for performance. Heat the bottle, purge the line quick, and spray! Oh yea, and HOLD ON!

I'm glad you're doing the plugs- I just bought a set for $75 delivered. PM me if you want the info, they may still have them at that price.

I came in to work today to find a check for 2175$ on my desk as a "second bonus".

I will be ordering the remaining parts on the above list today/tomorrow.

My lawfirm just basically bought me all my nitrous goodies.

I'm such a tease.........

Here's a video of Brent at Brenspeed running like 11.4 with a 150 shot- I took it at our local strip back in October.

I don't know waht I want to do now.

I could save this check i got today, wait 3-4 months and get a base s/c kit and then just go buy injectors and a fuel pump.

or go all out and finish the nitrous setup...

man this is kinda depressing...

thanks for the tease... hahahahahah

Save the cash and buy a blower....... that's my advice. I want to go fast BAD and have debated on nitrous for months now, but my mind, my friends, and even my wife keeps saying "NO, get a supercharger". On the other hand, of course my wallet says "NO, get nitrous".

A tuner kit is 2700, no injectors, tuner or fuel pump.

a complete setup is 3500 for a vortec s/c

not counting tuneing (well a canned tune comes with the tuner in the compete kits)
