My 1st thoughs on LT's...

I was running the FRPP Stingers + O/R X pipe for a few months and i really liked it. I got a deal on some jba's off this site and bought them. I had them installed today and picked the car up about 30 mins ago.

Right when i turned the car on, i was a bit disappointed... i expected it to be a lot louder. Anyway, as i proceed to rev it up... it sounded just about as loud as my o/r x and stingers, so once again i was disappointed. I revved it again and i noticed i was only revving to around 4k. That cheered me up a bit. Anyhow, i proceeded to go inside, pay the guys there $300 for the install (good deal IMO) and as i was leaving of course i went WOT.... and boy o boy... these things sound BEASTLY!!!! The car sounds like a ****** true muscle car!!! I got on the highway and did a couple of 3rd and 4th gear pulls... JESUS!! I loveee the sound. Sadly, i had left work to pick the car up and i had to go back. I get off work in about 15 minutes and the drive home is going to be FUN. (20 miles all highway)

I do feel the car pulling harder. I didn't think i was going to notice anything... but i did. Going WOT is hella fun!!!

So you still not running cats with the LT's? Yeah, I heard you can't really tell the difference with LT's until you open it up. Glad you like em...

I did OBX LTs, Granatelli full exhaust, Motor Mounts, Aluminum Driveshaft and 93 Race Tune all in a course of 3 days. The car is a BEAST! You guys are right, those that don't have them, don't know what they are missing!

Your repsonse was the exact same as mine the 1st time I heard my car idle and then when I drove away the very 1st time after my L/T install. The sound of an Old School Muscle Car!!! I've had mine on for well over a year and my smile, when I open it up on the highway, is the same as the very 1st day!! I LOVE MY LONGTUBES!!!!

The set-up has a slight rasp to it when going WOT. Its not bad at all.

I don't think you can put the o/r prochamber with the BBK. Its for MAC.

What older racing videos? Lol.

My longtubes gave me a good, noticeable increase in power.... Until I installed heavy 20" wheels... Now i'm back to pre-header speeds. LOL

That sucks. There's a guy at work that put 22"s on his Magnum and he can't even spin the tires from a dead stop.

Bigger rims are pretty, but they're too heavy.

That's definitely a matter of opinion. Looks not weight...
