mufflers

can anyone know of a real good deep sound axle back muffler without inside drone for 07 GT auto. I've just installed a set of SSS. the sound is great, but the drone is terrible.

Usually a deep sounding exhaust will have some drone. You could look into Corsa or the Ford KR500s, both of which are not supposed to drone.

I have the Ford M-5230-S Stainless Mustang Mufflers which I used to replace some mufflers the dealer had installed because of drone. I love these. The drone is gone, and they sound great (at least to me - everyone has there own opinions. Good luck on your choice.

I know people tend to trash-talk the Flowmaster American Thunders but I rather like them. We have them on ours, you can see a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kfwGAHXooc
There's no appreciable drone, even with the 3.73 gears I have. It was even quieter inside with the stock 3.31 gears.

BOOMTUBES!!!

No drone at cruising speeds. SUPER deep and refined.

Oh, and they do this cool thing when you step on the gas really hard

I've gotta say, I just put on a set of Flowmasters. Nice sound, no drone. And I know drone, a previous set of DynoMax.

Borla 11752. Deeper than stock. Not too loud. And you can hear them at cruise speed but no drone.
