MRT catted H pipe - anyone have??
Anyone have any experience with this?
Saw it listed on Ninosport and sort of interested - I don't want an X (change in exhaust pitch) and would like to keep it catted........
Any info is appreciated!

Dam that must have just came out, I didn't even know they made the mrt h for the 05 +. I would have rather had that instead of my prochamber..... we'll maybe not but I still love the mrt h pipe. Go for it I think it is a great mid-pipe. My buddy has an mrt catted h with stingers on his 03 cobra and it sound's like pure sex

The H section is also re-engineered as well....... plus I would guess it is lighter than stock by a bit.
If you are NOT going offroad (ie - no cats), you are going to spend some bucks no matter what you do so...... truthfully, yeah - the MRT is kinda pricey - but I DON'T mind spending when I get quality and get what I am after.
I had the Bassani X on my 05 a year back - liked the extra power but was NOT hot about the exhaust note....... and truthfully, yeah it is pricey - but some people spend $1,000 to put new seats or aftermarket leather seats in their car so.... to me, the exhaust is more worth it in a practical way...... or how about $800 plus for a wood steering wheel?
(Plus Ninosport is having that 7% off sale this month so it would be closer to an almost flat $400.)

So if you're in a state that either does minimal inspections or no inspections you should be safe.

Might as well throw that idea out the window... aftermarket cats aren't legal by federal law. Don't misinterpret that, I could care less and my state doesn't do visual inspections as long as the ODBII codes are good. (96+ vehicles).

Hell down here?? They stopped doing emissions inspections back in the ninties..... you can literally run whatever the hell you want! So legality isn't even an issue for me.

Same here....... I had a cop pull me over last month because he heard me rev up my engine. In our area, revving is considered "exhibitional driving" and can be ticketed. He came up to me and had me start the car and rev it up for him- then he told me how good it sounded and we talked for (no joke) about 20 minutes about mustangs, cars, etc. and he let me go.
No cats, Borla stingers.......LOUD!

Yeah, I live in the cornfields of southwest Ohio within 2 miles of a small burg with like 1500 people and 6 cops. They have nothing better to do than ticket people for 5 mph over and their stupid noise ordinance. I have not found out personally but others have that it is purely up to the officers discretion if you car is too loud or not.
