Mileage on the juice
#1
I thought I posted this but I can't find my post :bang: well here we go again...
now that you've juiced up your ECU (be it predator or sct) what is your mileage/mpg like?
Please post mods and average MPG - this could be a useful resource for all upgrading!
Thanks!

That's it? only two people tuned their cars? all this boasting about HP and torque - and no boasts on mph. I'm trying to help everyone determine what the true cost of tuning is!
Please people, chime in!

I get 18-20 on the hwy and about 13-14 in the city....Most of my mods are in my sig...obviously the 4.10's are having a big impact on my mileage....but it's well worth it...LOL...I can't see anybody with any setup getting 30mpg on a GT and certainly not a blown one...I think that's a bunch of crapola....

I don't have a Mustang yet, but I'm sure here in Colorado the numbers are crappy during the winter. They change over to oxygenated fules here in the winter to try to keep the air clean, and it winds up costing you a few miles to the gallon. For those of you with low numbers, something to consider....
You lucky bastards down in the south... you guys get high octane levels at the pump.... here in Colorado, you don't normally see anything over 91.. but mostly goes 85 87 89. I know in some of the lower states, that's the minimum grade.

When reality hits it's already done; you can always pass the buck saying you can't believe it but, someone must have been posting BS.
Remember; it's always easier to ask and get forgiveness than receive permission
