How much were the first ones? I am going to see if Magnaflow will give me a deal on them because I hate the ones on the magnapaks. The first ones look like the ones on the magnaflows and they looked great when I had them installed.

now that I think of it, shouldn't this post be in the exterior section because it has absolutely nothing to do with performance.

They put it in the wrong forum...........darn it!!!!!!!!!

Anyway........the 1st ones are $160 welded on. ( 2 for the GT) Duh........I can go look at them tomarrow and then decide if I like them. If so, the will weld them on for me. It wont change the sound of the exhaust any, just the looks.

i will let you all know.

Rene - definitly the 1st ones - they look the same as what came on my Magnaflow axle back exhaust system.....$160.00 installed seems kinda high? Double it and you would be close to the axle back system - which will give you a better sound too and bolts on - no welding necessay.

Good luck and those tips are going to look waaaay better than the factory "tin cans"

It does sound a bit pricey. I found the tips on line for about $40 each, then I just need to pay a shop to weld them on. I will shop around for prices, just wanted to know wich ones looked nicer.

Thanks

I called around and here is what I got. $40 for each tip, and $65 to cut off the old ones, and weld on these new ones. TOTAL $145.

I am going to go for it..........

Will post pics after this weekend!!
I cant wait to see what they will look like......

I decided to go with No. 1 pic, but instead of the 6.25 inlet, I am going with the 8.25 inlet. Monday install.

QUESTION THOUGH???????????
When I went up there to look at them, they were very dirty on the insude, and the MAGNAFLOW PERFORMANCE decal etch on the rim of the tip was "used" and worn looking.........am I missing something here. He told me they were new, but........?!?!?!?!?
