Magnapacks caused check engine light
#22
Hey Johnny, I took mine into Gaudin today to talk to my tech about some more mods and he checked the cpu for me. I had a missfire code also. When he pulled the spark plug the ceramic was cracked! He said it might have been a bad plug from the factory. He did a compresion test just to make sure every thing was allright (it was), you would think it would take a tremendous amount of heat to crack the ceramic! I'm going to bring it back in tomorrow to do a more thorough check. You might have your tech check yours out, as there may be problems with the spark plugs and or coil pack's. BTW: The coil pack is what provides and delivers an electronic current to your spark plugs providing the spark to ignite the fuel and air in your combustion chamber. They replace spark plug wires and distributers, there is one coil pack to each spark plug.
