Yes, I got serious trumpeting. I have a Harley with straight pipes, I love loud exhaust when it sounds good. The GTA's with my set up were raspy, barky, high-pitched, and trumpety. Flows are much better now on my set-up anyway.

Hey IowaBeef,
I have recently added longtubes with my GTA's and I have to admit I am not happy with the added raspy sound about 3000rpm. I was running an offroad Mac Prochamber before and it wasn't as bad. But now with the standard H-pipe it pretty much sucks at times. When you added the Flows did it bring drone with it??? I will not go with anything that drones. I had Borla Stingers and they killed me. What are the Flows like? Please be honest.

+1. Everyone pretty much scared me into wanting to sell my GTAs even before I've installed the other half of the system... Haha. Flows sound decent on youtube. I just want some really agressive and priced affordable. Haha $500+ for mufflers isn't my idea of a affordable muffler.

I'm sorry but I don't think I will be much help. I haven't got my car out on the highway yet because there is snow everywhere in Iowa and the car just sits in the garage. But when I originally researched exhaust I liked the flows and the GTA's because they both were supposed to be low-to-no drone. I went with the GTA's because I thought at the time they had bigger tips, but they don't, they are both about 4 inch outside diameter. If you can wait until the roads are clear here, I could help you then!

I really don't think they trumpet or drone, because there is not any sound that comes from them that bothers me. My son's car has something that is close to Loudmouths and it is loud and very irritating to drive even at cruising speeds.
