Lowering question?
Lowering question?
I'll either be installing Steeda's Sport Springs or the Eibach Pro-kit. The car has less than 1000 miles on it so I don't plan on replacing the shocks.
Will the stock springs wear out faster since they're not tuned to the springs?

think you mean the stock shocks, yes they will wear quicker, but guys still seem to get 20k miles out of the stockers after the spring swap, doesn't wear them out that much quicker to prevent the drop..I have the prokit with stock springs and am very happy as far as ride/performance goes for a daily driver
the stock shocks will give out quicker when using aftermarket springs. the ride will be very very bouncy, for the stock shocks are only dialed in for the spring rate of the stock one.
my advice, do everything right the first time. get shocks and springs to compensate and have a nicer ride.
be sure also to get the other parts needed to compensate for the drop.
adjustable panhard bar
panhard bar brace
alignment bolts
new strut mounts

You won't notice much of a drop for Steeda, but I guess the true question is, What do you want out of the springs? Do you want it for LOOKS or PERFORMANCE? You'll get performance out of all of them, but for looks AND performance I would say Eibach is what you want. BMR's and Eibach's will have a more aggressive look, the other ones are barely noticeable IMO.
I replaced only springs in my 05, and the shocks didn't go quickly, it was the strut mount (made out of plastic, GOOD ONE FORD!) that broke, QUICKLY! (within 2 months I had noises where I thought the car was falling apart!).

Me..
Steeda Ultralite springs with stock dampeners.. ride is decent.
On deck.. Eibach Pros with Tokico D-Specs.. performance and ride should be
