Since I don't know much about drop kits....Can you put the 1" drop springs (steeda) in the front ONLY, to give it a more raked look. Would this cause problems? Kind of like what we used to do to the cars in the 60-70's.

 

The cars balance would be totally off. You'd wind up "diving" everywhere when you apply the brakes. Not so good if you want to do alot of spirited driving around corners and such. You could tail out real easy with that set-up.

Old muscle cars were raked like that to prevent the front from lifting too much while dragging, also in order to clear a larger rear tire.

If dragging is your thing, then I'd say go for it. If it isn't, then I'd say don't sacrifice the '05 improved handling.

You can't just use springs. Check out all of Steeda's parts and you will see what I mean. Definately you have to lower both front and both. I agree imook16, you will be all over the place when bracking. Also kiss your alignment goodbye
