Some of you may find this hard to believe (including me), but lately I've been thinking that my car is too loud for everyday use. I don't need to attract any unwanted attention. I can make the car ungodly loud just by hitting the switch for the cutouts, so having it mellower during normal driving is OK. So, I'm considering taking the Bassanis off, and switching axlebacks again. In fact, I'd like to see what the stock muffs sound like with this combo, but unfortunately I sold mine a year ago. Anyone have a set of stock mufflers they want to unload? PM me if you do.

OK well what if the X pipe was not a racing pipe it comes with Cats... should that still cause trumpeting? Or should I be ok?

Mine still trumpeted like crap even with hi-flow cats.

I think I'm going to go for the Bassani Race mufflers. The sound was described to me, and it sounds like what I want...

Thanks to everyone for the input.
