Loose mount....somewhere?

Hey all,

I have had a 'clunk' type noise for about a year and a half now. It started a few weeks after I had LT's installed. I have Steeda aftermarket motor mounts and during the LT install, we discovered that the bolt on one of the mounts was loose and the other was actually disconnected completely. This explained an issue I had before this when my left side mid pipe was hanging lower then the right and would often loosen after some time. We also noticed that the front part of my oil pan was dented. From looking at the scratches on the K-member, it looks like someone tried to lift the car and had it slip off hitting the oil pan, maybe messing up the mounts? Either way, whatever happened there, at least my wheels, or car for that matter didn't get stolen.

Anyway, everything was tightened up after the install the way it should and all was good until the 'cluck started. It happens when taking off from a dead stop and mostly has felt and sounded like it comes from the rear end. We have thought it is the 1 piece drive shaft rubbing when the rear drops under acceleration but it doesn't happen between gears, only when leaving from a dead stop. If I take of from second gear, it is a much harder clunk. I have D-Specs installed and set to the firmest setting to limit the amount of rear dip and even taking off very slowly, I can still feel it sometimes, just not as hard. The motor mounts have been checked several times and were tight each time. We painted the drive shaft and part of the tunnel and there is an area that has minimal scraping but nothing matching this solid clunk, besides, I would think the DS hitting as hard as this clunk is would produce a screech type rub. Not to mention, with no clunking each time the car drops between gears somewhat rules that out. Sometimes now I feel the clunk taking off in the shifter and sometimes in front of me, like something hitting the firewall. Still, nothing can be found loose.

Since the LT install, I have had a few things fail that don't make sense since I don't drive the car that hard, mainly just a spirited sprint getting on highways hear and there. Here are the issues I have had since the LT install...

* 2 seperate pulleys go bad
* Rear end bearing, 2 of them, worn out (heard it and replaced them before complete failure)
* Alternator physically broke. It first sounded like a 3rd bearing in a pulley going but it was the alternator pulley. My Alternator is relocated at the top due to the M90 Roushcharger and the area behind it where a bracket attaches was broken off so it didn't have the support causing the belt to put odd tension on the pulley.

I have a feeling now something is actually loose causing the engine to move or cause irregular vibrations, contributing to the worn pulleys, broken alternator, and rear end bearings getting worn (which actually are starting to sound like they may be wearing out again.)

Is it possible even though the motor mounts are tight that the engine could still be shifting, causing something in the drive line to clunk like it is? Maybe transmission mount?

Sorry for the long read, but wanted to be as detailed as possible.

Thanks.
