Hey guys, I just bought new wheels, they are 18x9 and I'm looking for some tire recommendations. I don't want to spend a ton of money on wheels, a price somewhere in between would be nice. So who recommends what? Right now I am leaning towards 255/45 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A® KDW's all around.

Thanks!

I have the Fuzion ZR1's and love them. They handle great and are alot stickier than the Pirelli's that came on car. Also very quiet!

The BFG's are good tires, but very noisy. If I had it to do over again, I'd see what was offered in the Bridgestone Potenza.

Once again, my BFGs are not noisy. I do not know what these folks are talking about! They are a great tire and I would buy them again. Handled great in the snow too.

I've heard from several people that the BFG's are noisy. I would look at the Fuzion ZR1's. Seem to be the same as the Potenza's, at a fraction of the cost.

I have also heard that BFG's are noisy. I have the Nitto 555's on my car and I have zero complaints. Very sticky tires.

Your BFG's (KDWS) are a different tread pattern than the KDW...the KDW is the one that is considered noisy.

AAhhh. So that explains it. I never look (or ask) to see which ones other people have that say they aren't noisy. I just assume they realize what tires I'm talking about.

price to performance ratio the KDW looks to be the best... the ZR1s don't come in 255/45/18. How noisy is noisy when it comes to the KDW?

I have the KDWs and I don't find them noisy at all. In fact they are probably the best tire I have owned.

Welp, I went with the Nitto 555s. Most of the reviews I read were positive. I ordered them from discounttiredirect.com....couldn't beat the free shipping.

Looks like you have the old tread design since your sig says 255/40/19 and the KDW-2's (new tread design) aren't listed in that size.
We're talking about the NEW tread design.

Did not know about tread design and noise level. I learn stuff everyday. Now I do not have to worry when I buy BFG GForce KDWS tires in the fall. Unless they chang the tread design, that is.
