Looking For Suspension Upgrade Advice
I just purchased a Saleen supercharger for my 2006 GT with auto tranny. The car is completely stock except for the exhaust and the CAI with tune. As I add the increased HP to the car I also want to improve the handling and stability but I am not sure which way to go. Which suspension parts should I be improving as a result of the incresed HP? Please feel free to share your good and bad experiences as well as brand preferences.
Hey,
Welcome back! Can I get a ride
I would go with Tokico D-Specs or Konis as they are adjustable, also consider Steeda springs or FRPP Springs. Lower control arms and possibly Uppers, I would consider BMR or Steeda.

I think it all depends on how and where you drive the car and how much HP you plan on putting down.
I agree the Tokicos would be a good bet. Sway bars would help as well, I have the FRPP sways and I would recommend them.
Springs will lower your ride height and help as well, but I think you'll see the most improvement from the shocks.
The Saleen stuff is Racecraft suspension, I believe. The only complaints I've heard is the LCAs have the poly bushings and they crack after a bit. A friend of mine has gone through three sets before he put in the BMRs which work fine.
And again if you don't drive the car hard or aren't planning on putting down massive amounts of HP then you don't necessarily NEED to get any of these things but hey you don't need a blower either so what am I saying hehe
