Longtubes problem, Please help!
I installed the MAC longtubes into my 05 GtStang, I had a muffler shop do
it and I was there watching the whole way...When they finished,
Everything was tightend and all.... now when I hit the throttle, I hear the
rumble along with it seems like gushes of air coming from the bottom of
the car...If the pipes had a hole or leak, It wouldn't sound like air, right?
any comments on this? Thanks everyone!

I think you're reffering to the common longtube sound. A lot more air gets pushed through and the sound at the collector makes one almost think it's an exhaust leak. With an exhaust leak, you'll hear a ticking sound too, almost like a bad lifter.
That said, the Macs aren't a true longtube, just a 3/4 length... so maybe there is a loose connection It's also not uncommon to have to tighten things up again after install to seat everything properly. I know it took about 4 tries to get mine (JBA Longtubes) to seal up completely. Fortuneately we knew this going in, so I didn't leave the shop until we had it buttoned down good
