For sure Long Tubes will give you a bigger gain, but the avg cost for a set is $600 to $700 plus the cost of labour to install (about 5 hours or so).....UDP's are about $200 and can be installed by many following TacoBill's DIY.

I guess it all depends on he wants more horsepower and a better sound or just a slight increase in hp. I got my longtubes with catless xpipe for $650 from pypes
