Long tube headers and off road hpipe

Will long tube headers with an o/r h-pipe to jba axle backs be ridiculously loud. I'm looking for a mean sound and performance but I also don't want it to be annoying loud. Any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks.

It will be pretty loud maybe start with the headersand x pipebut keep your stock mufflers and see how that sounds first.

Sure I wouldn't mind hearing how it sounds.

I'm running full JBA setup on my 05 - long tubes with o/r H and mufflers and it sounds sweet! I had Hooker LT's with stock mufflers, which had a good growl, but not much at idle (JBA's do).

Here is a YouTube video with the exact set up you are looking for. You may want to call the vendor Nino Sport to confirm it......because it does sound like it might have a cam installed as well.

Whatever the set up....sounds pretty good to me!

Sounds good to me but I have a quick question that may sound dumb but would I get more HP with the long tubes or UDP's, which would be the best next mod from those 2. Thanks for all your info and sound clips.

Is there a way to weld the stock cats on the long tube mid pipes. Is this possible and if so where is the best place to put them.

Y would u want to weld the stock cats in? It would probaly be cheaper to buy a new x or h pipe with new cats on it and just bolt it all together. And my friend has jba long tube headers with an off road h pipe. His car is loud not annoying loud. It sounds mean.

You can not really compare UDP's vs Long tubes......as both will give you good gains.....but installing and paying for the cost of UDP's is much cheaper than long tubes which cost a lot more $$$.

JBA makes both an offroad H and catted H for their long tubes specifically.

I think the long tubes would free up more hp than the udp would.

I honestly didnt notice any power gain with my longtubes. and the gaskets have blown twice now even with locking header bolts and im about to give up and put the stock manifolds back on with an O/R H and stock mufflers.
