Long time since logged in but Suspension question..

Symptoms:

While driving the rear end wobbles back and forth left to right and right to left.. If i turn the wheel hard left or right it moves then i hear a "clunk" as it reaches it's max travel.

I have replaced the swaybar bushings as I noticed the swaybar near the links in the middle looked like they scratched the bar from it moving.

I can stand next to the rear end and push on the car and make it also "clunk", also from pushing on the bottom of the body and lifing the car up with just my hands.

Wheel bearings seem ok from shaking tire to get them wheels off.

So it's still happening after those bushing were changed.

My next thought, still thinking simple stuff first... as I see nothing broken or cracked underneath the rear.

Panhard rod bushings are also a possible culprit. So I contacted Granatelli to get some new bushing for the brace.

Does anyone have any more ideas or is ole Jake on the right track?

I'm sure someone has seen a similar issue over time...

Stock springs (test good doing bounce and lift test)

Car has been parked for 2 years as my motorcycles get better gas mileage and I didnt want to dump the money into the car any more.

I've decided to get her up and running just for weekend driving or when it's raining.

Checking the pan hard bar is a good idea. Also I would check to make sure you don't have a loose or bad shock.
