Location Of Cats

How does the location of the cats affect the sound? I ask because I'm having a MRT Catted H-Pipe installed next week. They place the cats further down stream.

I've been researching this also, I'm not so sure it's the location, more just the hi-flow cats flow better.

I see you have the Flows, here is a youtube video I found of the flows and the MRT catted pipe, sounds frickin awesome!

Hey John - its definitely louder but I believe that is because of the high flow cats, not the location

Here's the MRT with Hooker Aerochambers

(since uploading, Putfile is now running ads at the bottom of the ^%# videos now so just ignore them. pardon the in-car portion - I had the windows down so there is some wind noise)

Location of the cats shouldnt have anything to do with it. If they flow better, the exhaust will be louder.
