Almost everybody loves their car, but have you had any problems?
The V6 guys report some computer-type stalls ,pinion noise,body stuff.
How's it going with your new car? Identifying the trends will help quality.

Jack - do a search under "Issues with your Mustang". I started a thread quite some time ago and we had a pretty good list. IIRC:

1. Fueling problem (TSB out now for fuel tank replacement by Ford)
2. Shaker head unit skipping jamming on CD's, etc ( TSB out by Ford for early "A" units)
3. Upper strut bearing "popping" noises - TSB out for a new fix by Ford
4. Engine "ticking" noise due to cam chain tensioner spring failure....have seen a few of these - but don't think Ford has a TSB out yet
5. Manual Transmission lower bell housing bolts not installed at factory - results in an "exhaust shield" kind of rattle - no TSB that I'm aware of.
6. Heater mode - air blows through center defrost vent - instead of 100% through the floor vents - I belive Ford is aware of this and don't know if there is a TSB or not
7. Squeeling brakes - don't know if there is a TSB - but quite a few have had an issue with their brakes making noise.

That's about all I can think of now - anyone else feel free to add!

My car has the Shaker stereo issue, popping in the front end, and a whine in the rearend. There's TSB's for all of these concerns. The TSB for the whine says to install a damper on the rear axle housing. I also already had the instrument cluster replaced due to an airbag light flashing, there's a TSB out for that too. Other than that stuff, this car is great and will be even better once the other issues are addressed. I'll be taking care of this stuff within the next few weeks.

When the driver side window is all the way down and you close the door, it sounds like the glass is rattling off the inside. Intermittent, and possibly only on mine. Doesn't happen on passenger side.
