As far as N/A goes, you're not going to see well above 350 without heads. With heads and all those mods, it's not that difficult, but you're going to be into decent S/C territory pricewise by that point spending on heads, SPR cams, intake, tuner, long tubes, driveshaft, UDP, cmcv. Add it all up and it's not cheap. But I don't get why people think it's impossible. People dyno around 350 with every bolt on minus heads.
EDIT: sorry, didn't realize this was a zombie thread.

Just to open a scabbed wound...Now there's more developments on the cams and tons of new options for intakes that do without the CMDPs.
Also, the stock 2011 5.0 makes 400+ Hp.
Might as well enjoy the "mileage" you get from non-modded NA pre-11 Mustangs!

According that dyno sheet Dixie Flatline pretty much called the RWHP with heads and cams. So now I really really want to see the dyno sheet from AFCOP13 car. If he ever comes back.

Not a zombie thread dude, I read through pages and pages of this website, looooove it.
I had cai, 95mm maf housing, tune, lt headers+no cats, udp, stock intake manifold, stock heads.
I just put in frpp hot rod cams, cmcv delete plates, and an electric water pump and gained 26rwhp with the a/f all over. I should be able to get it up to 30rwhp+ once I get the a/f curve flattened out. 351rwhp 344rwtq sae. before the cams i ran a 12.9 at 108 with a 1.7 60' at 2300 feet.

I wonder why your tq is so low? Mine comes in right at 300 when I stomp on it at 2500 rpm and goes up to 340+.
Edit: you have way more top end than me though. My max hp is at 6250ish and right after the line starts dropping down. Yours basically pulls right to 7000+. Sweet.

That's a lot of work for 50 or so HP. F/I can safely add twice that for far less than twice the price. If I can get 400 -425 rwhp in my 05 it wouldn't bother me to lose to a slightly modded 11+ with their ugly butt.
You are right though. Just slapping on a blower at stock boost levels is the most time and money efficient way to get a big bump in hp.

He moved his torque band higher in the rpm band. So he lost power down low but replaced it in the upper rpms.
To find hp you use the equation Torque x RPM / 5252
cam profiles including overlap, and timing events as well as the lobe centerline all create different power profiles. still making power at 7000 rpm I'd assume his lobe centerline is narrower than a lot of other grinds.

HP is a function of torque.

Yea it sure is top end crazy, good for a track car. Is it an auto or manual? That band would be perfect for riding out 3rd gear through the end.
