Kill switch

M thinking of running a manual kill switch added to the inertia switch. A switch wired and hidden in a place not easily seen but easy to hit in the event of theft or car jacking. Can i get some ideas. I have some good ones but want some outside advise.

Just pay for a decent insurance policy and let them jack it. Trust me, a pro will find your switch if he really wants your car. A good insurance provider will buy you another one. Lol

Ones a convertible so its not the pros Im cocerned about. Besides the pros are to smart to go after cars that cops stair at while you drive by. Pros go after cars that blend in to get. To a chop shop. The movie gone in sixty seconds was just that, a movie. Its the ignorant car jackings from a druggy is what I am concerned about.

If an auto, put a switch in the line for the shifter interlock. Once in park, flip the switch to deactivated the interlock. Locate switch close to the seatbelt release location.

Im looking at adding a switch to the inertial switch to hide close and easy to get there. I figure if carjacked you could hit the secondary switch as you climb out that opens the circuit killing power as the inertial switch would leaving enough fuel presser to run about 5 the 10 seconds.

I Bought a Compustar 2 way alarm system that has a anti- jacking mode on it.
