If you folks are experiencing this ping you may want to retard the timing back more like 5-7 points instead of just 2.

maybe richen up the fuel at WOT. K&N flows more air, need more fuel. just my $.02

 

I am in Spokane, it was about 75 degrees with 87 tune, 83 degrees when I tried 91 tune. I believe the elavation to be 1,700 ft. Perhaps to much air, I am going to try putting the HC trap in. If That dont work I will Call diablo.

Put HC trap back in today, NO PING! Performance is good. HC trap must reduce the air flow just enough to even out A/F mixture. So it does make a difference atleast in my car.
