Ok guys I'll let the graph do the talking

http://www.jbaheaders.com/images/dyno/05must_1675.jpg

The stang baselined at 291 hp (this is with ud pullies, cai and jba axle back.) I have a similar set up.
Then they pulled an amazing 312. Torque was similar. Are they just lying or is there hope?

Yeah, "lightly moded" means a reflash at the minimum, maybe a CAI as well

I have run 116 in the 1/4 mile with the stock headers(manifolds). The way the stock ones curve smoothly back and flow,I cant see the shortys making much of a diference.I plan on getting into the tens with the stock ones.

at least a reflash... I can't get to 6550 rpm, or even 6400 "stock"

yeah, compared from stock to a custom tune and shorties. Shorties by themselves never, Long Tubes perhaps.

I think the implication of the graph is that yes they start with the above mentioned mods and sct tune as their baseline is 291! Then the addition of the shorties gives them 312. So while shorties do almost nothing for a stock GT is it possible that These basic mods really respond to the slight increase that the shorties provide???

heck I'm just wishing, but I would really like to see some real dyno testing of shorties with basic bolt ons.
