I think I got four. I used the two wide, band clamps from the header to H pipe and the stock ones from the H pipe to the exsisting exhaust. I used one of the other basic muffler clamps that came in the kit in the middle of the H pipe where they come together.

I pretty much did the same...I used the wide clamps (JBA supplied) to connect the H Pipe to the headers and the stock clamps to connect the H-pipe to the axle back. I used the "U" clamp to hold the short "H" pipe connection together until I welded it. You will want to weld that short "H" pipe connection as it tends to leak with the "U" bolt.

My Dynatech headers came with clamps like this... they work exceptionally well on 2.5" slip fit connections!! You can get them at Jeg's and Summit.

I assume you mean the H-pipe is 2-piece. The X-pipe I got with my Dynatechs was 2-piece as well. And at first, I questioned why. But after installing it, I realized that having it a 2-piece design made it a ton easier to get it aligned. It gives you some left-right play to account for slight variances in the distance between the collectors (and/or cats). I am glad it was designed that way now.
