Thumbs up

Hey i was just browsing and I came across an exhaust system made by JBA Performance, and it sounds real hot, and I'm not sure if JBA was a good name, but I wanted everyone's input before I made a purchase......this exhause is within my price range, i wanted a magnaflow, but very very expensive, no offense to those who have it, sounds great, but too much to afford......any input on JBA?

JBA Performance Exhaust - 2005 Ford Mustang

here are some soundclips from the page:

This Soundclip just has the "JBA Axle-back Exhaust System"
Exhaust - with JBA Axle Back

And this one has all the components including, "JBA Headers, JBA H-pipe and JBA Axle Back Exhaust System"
Headers, H-Pipe & Axle Back System

Which one should I get????

I dont know how well the new exhaust is yet since I have yet recieve my stang yet, but JBA is a good company, I have had used them in the past they were first recomended to me by a friend who uses them, on his camero, z06, cobra and his fathers z06, and they make some quality stuff. They are actually located here in SD so it makes it convenient too, my friends camero actually was used by their shop in a hot rod magazine and tv special about their shop a couple of years ago. I actually was looking to putting on their new long tube headers for the new stang.

could be just the sound clips but I like the sounds of the magnaflows a lot better. The second clip sounded pretty good, as it should since that is replacing everything including the headers.

I think that the headers are what gives it the most rumble. I believe that the GT comes stock with a Ford H-pipe. But I'm sure that the JBA is more aggressive.

Either way, I'm still torn on what exhaust I should get......

Magnaflow....
JBA......
Bassani.....
Steeda.......

Wait for Borla.......

Decisions, decisions, decisions.........

The second sound clip is a 2005 Mustang GT (auto) with JBA Long Tube Headers, Off road H-Pipe, Axle back mufflers, and a Vortech supercharger. Thats the sound and power I'm going for! B) Im going with the Whipple S/C though, thats next!!

BTW: The Off Road H-Pipe is what eliminates the cat's. It bolts right up to the Headers!

I just had Bassani axle-back's installed tonight. I like them much better than the Magnapacks I heard on a black GT last week. It might be the sound altering my perception but I'd swear I can feel the power increase. Will post a sound clip as soon as I can record one. Should be able to this weekend. Next week - Steeda lowering springs and then Bassani X-pipe with high flow CATS...
