I am trying to figure out which intake is more popular and why.
Please post dyno results AS WELL AS which Tuner you are using. Maybe we can get a better idea of which intake seems to be performing better on average.

JLT w/DTP Predator 93 octane tune. Why? Bang for the buck, pure and simple.

Can't believe you left out MMR. It was one of the first one's released.

I picked JLT because everyone was posting how good their results were. With all that bought it, I do not remember an unsatisfied customer.
I do not have dyno results yet, but my butt-o-meter likes it.
Plus it looks cool painted as body color.

Does it not not ned the box around to shield from engine heat hearting the air? I know I m probably asking a stupid question but, I'm not familar with CAI's. This will be the first car I ever put one on.

MAC straight shot, am I the only one. Waiting for my Predator to arrive, then off to the dyno. Post results hopefully next week. Couldn't keep my CEL from coming on so for now its in my living room waiting on my tuner.

I have the C&L CAI and Diablo Predator combo....Outstanding performance and quality
From everything i've read in these forums, regardless of which you get, the factory airbox is a large restriction, and modifying it by removal of the air trap, or a full CAI along w/ a good tune will give you a nice performance boost.
Along with a performance exhaust, the CAI mod seems to be among the safest, tried and true mods you can do to the beloved 05' stang.
Somewhatdamaged

Painted JLT is $175, plus an option $75 for a canned tune, and $10 for shipping.

There is a heat shield that is being shipped with all new units. For those that already have a unit, contact Tucker and he will hook you up.
To me it is still a controversy as to whether it is beneificail or not. I have heard both sides of the arguement.
