Oh I forgot: One guy I was talking to in Florida [dang, don't ask me who right now] told me his powder coater would do them with a "core charge": Don't ask me where he got spares, but since my car is a daily driver I wouldn't want it down for too long. Though I could drive the Regal...

Drive the regal if u have to for a day or so. The job should only take one day, depends on how fast they want to "hook u up". I wouldnt get all tied up in that shipping covers back and forth.

Dont stress looking for the weather stripping. Mine came from my 01' coupe, borrowed of course need to replace it.

Call any mustang salvage place, and ask for the trunk (coupe) weather stripping. Its enough for 2 WMS units, and shouldnt cost much at all, even new from the dealership... Or check your local junk yard for a 99 or up coupe wreck, and take the molding. Not sure if previous years would work, cant see why not.

Update...FYI

Got the call today folks The 95mm MAF's and complete RAM-AIR kits are starting to ship out. I hope to test mine out soon, once theres dyno time available. This CAI is kickin' butt in the cool weather, gotta love it.

I come home at night, and the MAF is cold to the touch, all the way back to the JET TBS...AWESOME!! thanks WMS

No..Im not a paid endorser, I just love this product lol as u all know.

Its been a long wait, but will be worth it. As I recall from memory, theres a slight HP gain from the 80mm to the 95mm ~7-10 hp. But of course will it flow more air. ANd I will post my numbers here the moment I can.

A 95mm will require a custom tune, no way around it. And yes..its a 95mm billet MAF not a 90mm, I cant wait

Watching closely...lol. Who are you going to have tune it? Is the MAF a custom piece by WMS inhouse or is it just repackaged? If you could make this work with a Saleen S/C I'll give you 10 cool points!

Hey Frank , Its not re-packaged, its their custom piece all cnc'd, just like the ones we have now, only larger . Im pretty sure it would work with the saleen, even with the extra height of the blower..but the issue could be pegging the maf volts. IMO

I'll be going to JDM for the tune

Looking forward to an update! If this works as well as it should, I think I know what my CAI will be... And Christmas is just around the corner!

Michael,

Patiently waiting for my tuner to load me up with the 3.0 software on the x2
Im even getting a new laptop at the end of the month so I wont deal with the slow one I have, and I can loose the old WIN98 and that wont be an issue either...lol

Trust me, Its aggravating, but at least one person was able to log the WMS

Received mine today. Two days from Western Canada, its very cool looking. I'm so bummed I don't have a tuner already. Guess I should have got one while I was waiting. LOL
