Installed my new Mac Air kit
For a 159 dollar kit with stainless steel heat shield and mass air, looks awesome, check it out
I will be dynoing the car this weekend, , as of now the last time we dynoed with the tune and carbon trap removed an custom x pipe installed, with as much tuning as possible , we were at 294 to the wheels, I am hoping to get close to 300 or better, with the new air kit and new under pullies, this was on a mustang dyno machine
Guys the 410s were installed at the time of the dyno, we will be dynoing the car this weekend and I hope to get the dyno results posted. but as I stated, you wouldnt believe the diff, in respons and sound, much more deeper and louder, just blows my mind at the way it launches, on the street, guys check this kit out, its well worth the money comes with everything stainless steel heat shield, and alluminum mass air tub, everything, , 159 , my firendhas a steeda on his, and I think my car sounds and runs better with this mac kit,
Is this a Auto or Manual tranny ?
I have seen a few (in person) on a Mustang Dyno, and see dyno sheets of 05's on a Mustang Dyno - none come close to being 294 with a tune and mufflers. Can you produce the sheets for us to see ? Plus, from what I have been told, the 4:10 gears will lower the rwhp numbers ... so images would be nice.

You will need to get a tune after installing a new mass air sensor, which is included in these kits. You don't have to reflash if you just change the filter though.
Anthony... the Mac kit looks great. You said something about a custom x-pipe. Can you give more details?

Guys this thing sounds awesome, I cant even begin to say in words, , when I stomp down on it, sounds like a big 750 holly double puper, just moans, makes the mufflers sound awsome, with the sct and carbon trap removed, and 410s, with this kits its really move

Guys when I installed the sct tune, and installed the mac air kit, , it ran great, I went back to the mustang shop were I get my work done, called modular Madness in Moresville Nc, He went ahead and added an additional tune for free, because of the amount of air flow it produces, as far as, producing image sheets of course I will be happy to do so , as soon as we get it completed, , the x pipe I mentioned was custom built from a high performance shop in my home town called muffler masters, these guys install all kinds of mufflers and anything high performance, they took the h pipe were it was at cut the pipe and welded there own custom x pipe to it, I will try to get some pict as soon as I can, , I will try to get it on a lift, , but it sounds as good as any mustang with high performance mufflers, maybe better, , loud and deep, , ,
I got the same mac straight shot kit, and it is awesome. did you get a new sensor in your kit? i didnt. what are the particulars on your tune? i have a predator and am using the steeda cold air kit tune with it, but it would be great to get it a little better...
very cool though!
very cool though!
We must insist the calibrations for other manufacturers CAI kits not be used with out dyno tuning by a CMR performance tuning dealer. So everyone is clear on this issue.
We have not tested, and can not verify the safety of the calibrations when they are not used with the specific manufacturers kits. Close is not good enough for us, and we do not recommend, nor will we be responsible for, use of NON-CAI or the manufacturers CAI calibrations not set up for a proper application.
Thanks,
