Installed FRPP Strut Tower Brace, anyone run into this?

Ok, sorry no pics, but I painted my wife's GTCS cam covers ford blue and put on a strut tower brace (FRPP). I noticed that the A/C lines were going to rub against the brace. I never heard anyone post of this before? is this something new to the 07????.

I ended up getting a home made rubber sleeve (took the rubber cover from my 06 left side crankcase vent I removed when I used braided lines) and put it on the A/C line and zip tied it in place.

Also I noticed that the bottom of the battery box has a rubber "tit" now on the 07's. it is totally in the way of removing the cam cover. It is not a vent or really for anything. So Mr. Hacksaw blade made him leave.

anyone else run into this?

i've experienced this first hand with my 2006 Mustang GT.. so it's not a new problem
the moment i put the FRPP brace on, i noticed it didn't clear the Midwest Autogear Plenum cover, and it touched the Aluminum AC lines..
it didn't really concern me at the time though..

i know she's dirty.. but she's been "topless" for almost 3 weeks while on her extreme makeover

That is a lot of parts! Great color choices- I wish I could have found a Tungsten with red interior, but I didn't have the time to place an order.

Those colors remind me of the Aston Martins from the 70's... very nice.

IIRC the 2007s strut towers are different angle than the previous years (05-06) hence why a lot of the FRPP are specified for the years.

I also had to zip tie a little rubber piece to the ac hose. It wasn't touching, but maybe 1/4" away from the ac hose. Close enough for me to want to protect it.
