I like my flowmasters. I absolutely love the roar at about 1/2 to 2/3 throttle. I gave the throttle a squeeze the other day as I was entering westwood through the tall buildings, man it sounded awesome
I re-used the stock tips on mine though, had them welded in then cut flat (straight up and down, no angle). I like that much better than the rolled tip look.

Very minimal drone, only when I lug in gear in traffic it'll do it here or there.
As for your rattling, make sure you install the clamp properly. Do some searches on here and you'll find some good threads with pictures detailing how to put the clamps on so they don't rattle.

I used the regular saddle(u-bolt) type the first time with no problems. This time I tried the supplied clamps. I installed the clamps up high, near the end, with the nubs the middle... The key is torque them down good

Those won't last...... Hey, I learned from you to purchase the u-bolt clamp. Thus far, I haven't had any problems with any rattles.

I tried and preferred these stepped band clamps myself. You can get them from Summit or from Pypes exhaust. Torque 'em down to 60 lbs./ft and away you go.

I set the my supplied ring clamps up like yours Steeltown and I've put over 1200 miles on them with no problems. I got under the car for a re torque but none was needed as they were still very tight. Love those flows!

I just received my Flowmaster AT's from Tillman Speed yesterday. I went to Autozone, Advance Auto, and NAPA to pick up some u-bolt clamps like you recommended, but could not find stainless. I may just give the supplied clamps a shot. Do you have any pictures of where you installed the clamps?

Yeah those are the exact instructions I followed with mine and I used the flowmaster clamps and really torqued them down and after I redid the clamps with those instructions (the first time I just put them on all ***** nilly and had rattling) I did a 2800KM road trip and then another few thousand KM once I got back with nary a rattle.

I installed my Flowmaster AT's today. The install was fairly quick and easy...I did use the u-clamps that was recommended vs. the supplied clamps. I don't appear to have any exhaust leaks...what is the easy way to check for this? I love the sound...not very loud, but nice deep tone.
