Installed CAI and Tillman Tune..

and WOW!
as every one always sais, its a new car and should have left the factory like this.

Thanks Chris for the killer tunes, the throttle response is now amazing!

The exhaust sounds so much better now, its a little more agressive on start up but when you get on it, oh my it really wakes up.

btw chris, I was suprised to see the JLT pipe in vapor when it arrived, I dont remember giving my paint code..or are they that color stock?

sadly no, I am running the 92.
91 is the common grade available in my area, BP is the only 92 gas in the metro.

I got the 87 performance 91/92 race tunes.

time to go drive!

They're normally black. I "accidentally" color upgraded you. If you'd rather have it in black, give me a shout! Glad you like the tunes! Let me know if you have any questions at all!

What are you running, 92 Street Race?

Thanks so much for the"accident" it looks great, I would not want it any other way!

I do have a Q.. to turn off the traction control, is that a setting I can adjust with the tuner?..

I also assume your tune adjusted the rev limiter?

I loaded up the 87 perf just to see how it was , it was amazing compared to stock, Then I loaded the 92 race, and wow man, wow!

Rev limiters are adjusted. Traction control can be turned off permanently, I can send you an updated tune. We leave it so you can turn it on and off as you would factory. Let me know what you want to do there!

Glad you're happy!

yea there is a world of difference between the tillman 87 tune and the 92 93 tune. I started out with the 93 for a few tanks of gas then went to the 87 .... I'll be going back to the 93 real soon. I just want to see what kind of mpg's I'm getting on the 87 tillman tune compared to the stock tune.

Chris, is it possible to change the TCS so that you can turn it on and off still like factory, however when the car starts TCS is off and If I want it on I can just turn it on via the button?

Unfortunately not possible. You're the first person to ask me about that, though. That would be cool if that could be done down the road.

there is a thread around here that address that. Not with a tuner but with a little rewireing

Ughhh...I really didn't need to run across this thread. I'm running stock intake and tune right now because I got too used to the CAI and 93 tune and started thinking evil thoughts about forced induction. Its torture right now but once I get used to stock again I'll go back to CR's tune and it'll be new to me all over again

Etnix, are you running a mail-order tune or a dyno-run tune? If you're only running the mail-order tune then you don't know what you're missing out on...

I do plan on going to a local shop here in KC, Supertune performance and getting a dyno tune but Ill wait until I get LTs first.

I rarely do any 91 octane tunes. Mostly 93, and a few 87. I think I have a few 87 JLT's and C&L Racers. The one is an automatic. I eventually gotta upload all our results to our website anyway. There's a few on there right now.
