My dealer knew that over the years I had ordered thousands of cars and that I knew the new model much better than he did. He had a devil of a time locating that option code.

Lets just say, it caused someone some embarrassment at the time, sore to speak.

From the factory I would not change a thing. I guess that's what a factory order should be. At the time of the sale, my dealer was adding Saleen superchargers for $5,000 installed - should have spent the money.

Spoiler delete also....there's too many dang spoilers out there that don't fit the stock holes!

Oh, and I would have saved up more money when I bought it so that I could have modded it faster

I would have kept it a 66 hertz replica, not the addition of 67 shelby touches. But on second thought, It would be compaired to the new hertz shelbys. I had a guy the other day ask me where I able to get one to rent so soon.

I don't know. I am very pleased with what I have done. Other than a totally new direction....probably not much.

From the factory I would have changed nothing on the 05, but I would like to have had some of the 07 options like heated powered seats and multi colored interior. After the sale, I would have gotten the stripes painted and then had the Llumar PPF to avoid the seams where it crosses the vinyl.

I wouldn't change much. I might not have gotten the interior upgrade package. I don't like the aluminum look to the dash (even though I ORDERED black panels, I didn't get them). The average MPG feature isn't as nice as I thought it would be, I expected it to be a bit more real-time, with out having to keep hitting re-set (not even sure how accurate that is anyway).

I might have haggled the dealer for some window tint.

after the 4.10 gears and exhaust, I'm very happy with the car, it's a blast to drive and I wouldn't change a thing.

Wow, I think I got the best of everything and paid a darn good price for it (fully loaded for $27.4k). Also, everything I have done to the car I do not regret and was money well spent. Im leet.

Back then there were no 18" black Bullits available. Now, I would order them instead of the 17" machined optionals.

I'm happy with the price and all the options, plus the few mods I've done. The only thing I sorta regret, but didn't know they could be peeled off with no damage, was letting the dealership add the white stripes for free. They offered and I said no after seeing the crappy job they did on a V6 Mustang same color. I thought they were adhesive and didn't want to chance having mine come out looking that crappy.

Funny, that's the one thing I DID do!!
The only thing I might have changed; ordered spoiler delete. At the time I wasn't aware of many if any ducktail options out there. Nor was there an option for 18" black bullitts. I almost went w/ the 17" black bullitts, but I'm glad I didn't now. Gives me more reason to get the black DD bullitts in a wider size.

Other than that, I wouldn't have ordered it any different!!!
