If I was picking up my car today I would have gone a little different route.

Exterior-

1. Keep chrome wheels and Nitto tires
2. No Roush scoop
3. No CDC chin or ducktail spoiler
4. No GT300 side stripe
5. No sequential signals
6. No painted mirror inserts

Interior

1. Keep Hurst shifter
2. Keep XM radio

Performance

1. Keep Bamachips tunes
2. Keep JLT cold air kit
3. Keep Steeda strut tower brace
4. Keep Borla axle backs
5. No 4:10 gears
6. Add - FRPP handling package
7. Add - StopTech stage 1 brake kit

Would have gone more for the "sleeper" look with the performance and handling. I will probably add 6 & 7 down the road.

I wouldn't have purchased the CDC chin spoiler or the Street Scene rear valance since they are both in my shop and I never could decide to actually install them.

BTW Rich, did you decide you don't care for the 4.10's? (noticed they were on your "no" list.)

One other thing, there was a very small dent in the driver door that I didn't notice when I picked up the car. The dent was painted over at the factory. Now I know it's there, my eye catches it every time I go to get in the car.

I would have taken a little more time checking the car out and made sure the dealer knew I saw the dent. I prolly still wouldn't have taken it back to the dealer to get it fixed though, cause I wouldn't want them to make anymore.

If I were picking my car up today...I would be driving her just like I did on May 4 of last year. And her birthday is today too And what I would of done different is had some lowering springs and some new wheels at home to put on her atleast.

Paul I like the 4:10 gears alot but I wouldn't do it again. Why, because I can't keep my foot off the gas pedal and the fuel is getting too expensive.

I feel your pain

I don't think the fuel makes as much diff as you might think, unless you drive a major amount of miles.
At 2000 miles a month, whats it cost, maybe $25 - $26. Just cut out the caviar once a month

Black 18" Ford Bullitts
Side Air Bags (just for resale value)
Different hood struts (I HATED drilling those holes)

Otherwise everything else would be the same since they stille haven't come out with a color I REALLY like.

PW is a beautiful color. I have seen all the colors now on the street, except Vista, which I've seen pics of and they all look fantastic. This car was (is) for some reason very important to me and I think it's very hard to pick the perfect color out. IMO, if they brought out twenty more colors, I would prolly not be happy unless I had one of each. I just checked with my bank, and they think the color I have is the best one.

I would prefer the 18" polished vs the fan blades and told the dealer to not mount the front license plate.

-I would have driven a manual before picking up the car
-I would have gotten the 18 inch wheels (Bullitts)
-I would have gotten the Roushcharger
-Spoiler Delete and add a ducktail
-Being 2007 model, I MAY have chosen a different colour, even though I love Wdv.Blue.
