He need some help, I don;t have a bunch of MOD money this year due to being layed off in January and finally getting work in April.
But I have been to the track this year several times thinking about knocking on 12's door, but just cant make it..
My best 1/4 Mile run
13.31 @ 103.31 1.98 60' ALt 600ft Temp 82 Deg
http://home.comcast.net/~2k05gt/Best-Timeslip07.jpg

13.26 @ 104.27 1.96 60' ALt 90ft Temp 70 Deg
look for slip..

But I am averaging around 13.35.
My car right now is a 2005 GT Auto
FRPP 4.10, JLT II CAI, SCT 93 Tune, Roush UDP and MAC Axle Backs.

I am looking at getting the Spyder DS or Long Tube Headers
high flow cats and H pipe but not sure what brand.
OBX Headers, Cats and H
MAC LT
I also want to change out the Stall sometime so I can effectively utilize my DR's, as well as some suspension goodies.

What good Mod will shave off another 3 tenths and cost under 1000 bucks.

If I was starting again with a stock auto car, the first four things I would do are CAI/tune, 4.10s, converter and drag tires. IMO, those would give the most noticable results at the track.

So, in your case, I'd say get a TC next... you already have the other three.

What Stall speed and Brand would you recommend. Keep in mind it's a Semi-Daily Driver with 37,200 miles on her already.

Street Fighter TC seems to be the popular choice....

I just ordered a 3500 stall PI multi disc for my daily driver (and weekend track warrior), but it's not cheap. The TC alone will run you $900 - $1000, plus installation. Another option would be the TCI Streetfighter 3000... a lot of guys are pretty happy with them. And it is much less expensive than the PI. I've seen them for under $500. I decided against the TCI for myself because I know of a couple that failed under the high hp/tq from a blower. But for N/A or low boost cars, it should be an excellent choice.

And FWIW, for most of the past year, I've been running a 3000 stall TC. I have almost 14,000 miles and over 500 runs on it. It is totally streetable, with no drivability issues. It's just not cutting it at the track for me. That's why I'm upgrading to the 3500 PI.

Follow Don’s advice and get the TCI, it will make the most difference and is the best bang for the buck of the mods you indicated.

Don,
I asked my Local Mustang shop about the Stall and they said to following

I would not go with TCI and a 100 shot would be just fine on that car.

TCI's quality is very suspect and getting the converter right the first time out is priceless, the wrong converter could cost you a couple tenths compared to a quality one. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for!
What is everyone experience with the TCI any issues on the S197
the shop are great SN95 guys and not big in the S197.

Yep Don is right. The 5 speed auto in these cars is great. All you need to really wake it up off the line is more stall speed. A tune with modified parameters for the auto is good too.

What converter are they recommending? I went with a PI 3300 stall multi disc (to prevent unlocking on the big end) and its great---1.515 60' so far.

Like I said, I know of a few TCIs that failed on boosted cars. That's why I decided on a PI (even though it was a lot more money).

I hope mine is as good as yours! Only difference is that mine is a 3500 stall.
