I don't have definite numbers, but the C&L Racer is a great mod! I know plenty of people running this intake, although mostly they are also running the Saleen blower.

You will need a tune with this!

You may want to check your emissions laws to see if Cams are ok in TX. I know I'd never pass here in CA, so I got blown instead.

I think 380 is possible to the rear with the following:
Intake and tuner - $600
CMDP's - $200
Heads - $1800
Fast intake - unknown
Stage 3 cams with springs, etc. - 1000
UDP's - 200
THrottle body - 250
Mufflers - 300
X-pipe and Long tubes - 900 to 1500

and a long time on the dyno to tune it in perfectly.

so far your at $5250 without dyno time (no intake cost associated yet, and took the LOW for the x-pipe and header combo. i would guesstimate $6250 with the nice kooks xpipe and header combo and $500 for the intake)

So 6k into it and you might be able to hit the 370-380 rwhp (a very streched maybe). You will lose some low end power with the cams and intake.

so my question is, why not a turbo or s/c for the same cost? Easier to install (hard to belive but true), possible cheaper, and its realtively easy to sell a mustang with a S/C than one that is modded to hell (also much easier to take back to stock if selling or warranty work ).

Here is my actual mod list:
intake-600
headers-494.69
4:10 gears-209.95
water pump w/ relay kit-334.99
cams-1000
cmd plates-95.00
udp's-168.95
strut tower brace=179.95
Total= $3083.53
The total of my mods is a little over half of your estimate Dirty Sanchez.(Luckily for me,only 2 of these mods have shipping costs, but I also have to deal with install costs for the Cams,Headers and Gears probably). This is what I think will get me to 340rwhp. Also,if I look a little harder for some of these parts,I might be able to find a better deal like on the headers or gears, and maybe cmd's.Well, what do you know,I just saved $242.34 on Gears,CMD's & Headers by looking for better prices.

I'll save you a little on your CMDs:

$95 and free shipping.

Also, great price on the headers. Are those shorties? You know the biggest gains come from LTs.

Do the FRPP CMD's give as much hp as the Steeda ones?

Both of these places have the cheapest price for FRPP CMCV delete plates, $89.95.

My opinion...

Camshafts, headers, mid-pipe, exhaust, oil pan, oil cooler, underdrive pulleys, water pump pulley, CMCV delete plates, throttle body, throttle body spacer, intake, intake manifold, lightweight flywheel, spark plugs, fuel injectors, coil packs, coil-on-plug connectors, low-temp thermostat, and finally probably the most essential thing: tuning.

You have a ton of options though, you could do N/A first and see how far you get. Later, you could supercharger it, or turbocharge it. (and you'll be making probably somewhere around 450 WHP) Or you could do a supercharger or turbocharger and then maybe do bolt-ons.

I have to say that it would probably be best to just put a FRPP, Roush, or Saleen supercharger on it and call it a day. You'll be making the power you want, you'll have a warranty, and it will have only taken a couple of parts to do it. Plus, you gotta love that S/C whine.

Your costs do not include labor for heads and cam install. I highly doubt most guys here are that capable to do that on their own. Not to mention the dyno time needed to dial all this stuff in.

Like exgto said,I can't install cams, gears, and maybe headers. All 3 of these mods are better off done by professionals who are specialists at this stuff.

What do you mean by who needs the pros? I rather have a professional install something that's pretty hard to install(a.k.a Cams,Gears,Headers,CMD's,Electric Water Pump,& Pullies) than risk messing up or damaging something on my car.
