If you want to do a real good smoky burnout try this:
1) Turn off Traction Control.
2) Have someone pour water in front of your rear tires.
3) Roll into and out of the water puddle.
4) Put your car in 2nd gear.
5) Wind the RPM to about 4000.
6) Let the clutch out FAST.
7) Watch your Rpm and try to keep it between 4-5000.
8) As soon as your tires start spinning place your left foot on the brake and apply pressure until your car doesn't move forward, but no more than it takes to keep it from moving (continue to watch rpm's and keep them at about 4000)
9) When your car is engulfed in smoke you can let off the brake and slowly back out of the throttle. This can be done without the water, but wet tires spin easier!

Usually I dump it in first, get the tires nice and hot, then I smack 2nd gear and ride the brake out for as long as needed.

Sorry, they're over at my house. I'm finished with them now, you can have them back.
For the record the one on the left IS better

I can vouch for 4.10s!! I think I have an extra 10 lbs of rubbber stuck in my rear fenderwells now.

Just a side note....the 05 GT's will not (or at least mine wont) do a burnout on dry pavement from just dumping it in 2nd gear from a dead stop. It smokes the clutch every time.

If you would have read the whole thing then you would see #2 says:
2) Have someone pour water in front of your rear tires.

Mine wouldn't do a good burnout NA without adding water

Did anyone mention this way to smoke your tires....
1)grind tires up in to small bits.
2)put ground up tires in rolling paper.
3)seal paper around ground tire.
4)light and enjoy...
