[attachmentid=23459][attachmentid=23458]Line locks for these cars are 2 solenoids inline of the front brakes. Depress the brakes to build brake pressure, push the button, let the foot pedal go. I personally, lock the lines, rev to 5000, let the clutch out in 3rd gear-which heats the tires faster. The solenoids retain the brake pressure only at the front tires. If you let the button go, brake pressure is released. Example burnout:

You really can't inch forward and then stop again with line locks, atleast not the type I have. I haven't tried to do so. You can buy a kit from here.

Before the line locks, I used to push on the gas with the ball of my right foot while sitting on the brake with my right heel and let the clutch out quick at 3000 rpm. This, I promise, will wear out your clutch the most and your brakes as well. I've already replace my clutch, if you don't believe me. The line locks are fun. If I had to do it over again, I would have installed the button under the shift boot. It's currently between the shifter and the console. You can press it while driving, but it doesn't do anything. You have to build pressure before it will lock the front brakes.
